After the success of our first Ghost Replica, Activision called us with an even crazier idea—making a new Ghost compatible with Amazon Alexa.

 

The technology we embedded into Ghost 2 was revolutionary—for the first time ever, Destiny players could request a hint or weapon change and find other gamers by speaking directly to their Ghost. Even better, the Ghost’s Alexa Skill crafted unscripted replies in Peter Dinklage’s voice, thanks to concatenated speech technology made possible through our partnerships.

 

The key to our success was mastering communication between companies. Idea Planet was the central crux of collaboration between Bungie, Amazon, Activision, and our technical engineers and manufacturing facilities.​
