Creation Brought to Life: The Broken Spear of Leonidas

The Spear of Leonidas in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an ancient weapon with incredible power. When Ubisoft requested a collectible replica, we knew we wanted to do it justice by giving the spear an authentically substantial weight. It needed to feel battle-ready... while applying to safety standards.  The solution was to give the spear a weighted rod inside the handle and a bendable PVC blade. We think the King of Sparta would approve.
